Re: DBUG> moving heavy blocks

Yep, some wild stuff out there.

In late May, maybe, there will be an interesting event out on a dry lake bed in So Cal: Constructing a pyramid, with blocks up to two tons I think, using KITES. A professor has a theory that the ancients may have used large kites to lift heavy stones. She's already demonstrated same, and has built some smaller pyramids. This one is supposed to be larger.

Some of my cohorts are involved, and have sent me photos of the work in progress. Mainly casting the large concrete "stones." Neat!

I've been invited to haul my Mirador out to the dry lake bed, for use as a camera platform for videos and stills. Maybe, baby. I don't have time to hang out for ages, tho. One day, I'm game. No more than that, I'm afraid.

I think it'd be interesting to see. I mean, I "get it," but still. Hey, I'm goin' for the UFO theory! For Stonehenge, too, by golly!
