DBUG> importing ACAD files
TT Fonts, yeah, that is a problem. Can't say I'm too happy with the way
Dcad translates fonts and text, either export or import, even with the
DC12 improvements. Nothing stays the right size. Several of the
engineering drawings I've received wind up with most text either *much*
bigger or *much* smaller than in the original Acad drawings. Annoying.
Hasten to say I'm really happy that Dcad is trying to deal with mtext
and such, but not with complete success yet.
I admit I've traced some surveys - simple house lots with few topo
issues - rather than try to get the surveyor to clean up his drawings.
Not worth antagonizing the doofus. Wouldn't do that for a complex site,
tho.
Regards,
Mark
