DBUG> v11 to v12 file conversion bug

We've updated now to v12, and we're experiencing dimensioning problems
converting v11 files to v12 files.  All manually placed dimension text
(text that won't fit in the space, like fractions or single inch, etc.)
in v11 files is either being rotated 90 degrees or placed below the
dimension line in the converted v12 file.  Is this due to the conversion
from .chr to .shx fonts?  Any ways of dealing with this?
