* DataCAD 12: Design, Presentation, and Drafting 
	by Mark F. Madura, DataCAD President and CEO
Most DataCAD users don't get paid until their working drawings get done.
Therefore, many of DataCAD's features are geared toward two-dimensional
production drawing.  However, DataCAD includes functions for design and
presentation that are often overlooked.  Normally, these tasks precede the
documentation phase.  Using a small residential project as an example, Mark will
demonstrate how he uses DataCAD's functionality for design and presentation, as
well as drafting. Also, Jim Horecka's "six plates" method will also be
discussed. (Note: this is not a repeat of January's topic but rather an
extension including all the material Mark did not get to cover at that meeting.)

* DBUG at AIA! Special Note: we have scheduled the May DBUG meeting to coincide
with the AIA convention. It will be held at the Boston Society of Architects
Bldg., May 16, 2008 Friday evening (4-6 pm informal reception, demo time, with
program to begin at 6 pm).

FROM NORTH OR SOUTH: Go via I-495 toward MILFORD 
Take the RT-85 S exit- EXIT 20- toward RT-16 / MILFORD. 	0.2 miles 
Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto CEDAR ST / MA-85. 	0.1 miles 	
Turn RIGHT onto DILLA ST. 	0.9 miles 	
Turn LEFT onto PURCHASE ST. 	0.1 miles 	
Turn RIGHT onto FOUNTAIN ST. 	0.5 miles 	
End at Milford High School: 31 W Fountain St, Milford, MA 01757, US

>From the West:
Mass Turnpike East to exit for Route 495.
495 South to Exit 20, Route 85 West toward Milford.
At first traffic light turn right onto Dilla Street, (Wendy’s Resturant on the
corner).
Take Dilla Street to end to Purchase Street. At traffic Light turn left onto
Purchase Street.
Approximately 300 feet turn right onto Fountain Street. Continue on Fountain
Street which becomes West Fountain Street after crossing Congress Street. The
High School is approximately one half mile further on the right side. Parking is
in the front of the school’s main entrance. Enter thru the main entrance and
follow the DBUG signs to the right toward the Tech. Education wing.

>From the East:
Mass Turnpike West to exit for Route 495.
495 South to Exit 20, Route 85 West toward Milford. Follow directions from West.

>From the South:
Route 495 North. 
495 North to Exit 20, Route 85 West toward Milford. Follow directions from West.
