I am not familiar with any but the Dell's wide screen here (not 19") but
have never found any problem. Very useful, no contrast ratio problem and at
1920x1200 the resolution is OK (just.) I am also not sure why their width
and format would make them more braggable than those with similar area but a
different format. Mine is sitting beside a 21" flat screen trinitron CRT at
1600x1200 and is certainly the preferred viewing experience. Finally, and
unfortunately, I don't have any entertainment software to try but if you
send me some I promise to brag about it.

Again, without any experience of the rest of the wide screen field I suspect
that the fears raised concerning them are hoo-hah which would not be there
if those screens were experienced. :-) Hoo-Hah Nick - the spelling may not
be right but the meaning would be clear.

As far as real estate goes - the more the merrier. Bragging at best would be
a byproduct if you use it. My area screen area is tripple that of a mate of
mine; it pays off and I would tripple it again if I could afford the initial
outlay. So would he and is just about to.

I agree however that a dual screen card would be a worthy first purchase.
