DBUG> IFP and Polylines

"I've also noticed most of my current IFP's are related to polylines I've
edited using the Polyline Macro. Specifically this occurs to lines edited
with the "MoveVertx" and or "AddVertx" functions. "

What timing! Yesterday one of our interns' drawing files received an IFP
and locked up. I had just read the DBUG, and so I casually asked if she had
been editing polylines. It turns out the file had many associated hatch
boundaries and she had been editing vertices all day. I think we are on to
something. BTW she was using V8.5.02.

The other day, in another file, she was doing a two line trim when the file
just froze on the screen. No polylines involved this time, just a worn out
re-used drawing created ages ago. We got out of DCAD with cont-alt-del and
brought up the last version (no ASV file found!). Immediately after double
clicking on the file name (to open it) I hit the Delete key to avoid having
the offending layer freeze up again. I did a layer utility and imported
into a clean default drawing. As soon as I tried to edit this file, it
froze again. This time, I loaded the previously saved layer files into a
clean default drawing in DCAD V7.04 DOS. This file came in fine and edited
fine. I then saved the file and brought it back in to V8.5.02 and it has
worked fine since.
