This is a characteristic of Windows. The best Datacad LLC can
hope for is to figure a clever way to give "screen drawing" top
priority without ruining the performance of the rest of the
program.

The particular nastiness of this performance nightmare created
the market for several generations of cheap, high performance
graphics accelerators.
