DBUG> Bearings

Most honored DCAD Gurus,

Okay folks what setting have I overlooked?  I am trying to input survey =
data:  Ang Typ set to bearings, input set to polar coordinates.  Click =
on point, space bar, input distance (70.95'), input bearing N10.41.50E.  =
Line is drawn.  Measure, Identify or dimension line and it measures =
77.11' ?????????  Why?  & better yet how can I input the data right to =
close the box???

I did read about a macro to help one input survey data that would =
automatically put the length and bearing aligned on the line, or maybe I =
just dreamed about it.
