Evan et al:

In your July Cheap Tricks article "Evolution of a Drawing", Stage I - I
took particular interest in your description on how to fax to yourself
to get a previously printed image into DC.  Maybe it's my old
Northwestern Bell FaxLine 1500 or my FaxWorks 3.00d software.  I've
tried your method 4 times w/ no scanned image to show for it.  FaxWorks
goes thru the motions of receiving the fax as if it were from an
incoming fax call.  It even plays its' usual soundbyte when the fax is
complete.  However, there are no new faxes reported.  Any suggestions? 
This is the closest I have been to success since other descriptions of
the process in past Cheap Tricks articles.  There is a Caller ID box
between the two.  Would that make a difference?
