DBUG> exporting dwg

Using Dcad8.05 in Windows98.

I am trying to convert a dc5 file to dwg.  The z hts. have been squashed,
hatch exploded, assoc. dims exploded, font to Romans, 3d lines to 2d lines,
symbols exploded, I think that's it.

When I try to export to dwg I get the following messge in a dos window:
System Error TNT. 40117: can't read command line.

What am I doing wrong?  Suggestions please!
