The grass is always greener - NOT
During a very slow FTP session, I looked in a couple of CAD
newsgroups.
I found a few amusing replies, I hope you don't mind seeing them
here.
>From the Autocad Newsgroup (comp.cad.autocad):
>If you can grab the two endpoints that are touching where the line was
>extended with a crossing box
>without messing up something else, you can
>STRETCH either line to the end point of the other.
>This leaves a line of 0 length that has to be erased.
VersaCad has a cammand called weld...
Is Autocad listening? This would be a good addition to c5 or R14.
[The other excuse (er method) was: ]
Convert the lines to a Polyline, then delete a vertex.

Did the engine require 3 miles per gallon,
run slowly and stall all the time?
If not, your freind may have been taken.

You hope that we will touch this thing wearing the rubber gloves,
or what? ;)

If you are a CSP customer there is am mdl program called meastag
(i think) that inserts the value of a measurement (area perimeter)
into
tag that you can attach to an element.
After "tagging" the element you can dump the tags to an ascii
file.
If you design the tag database properly (ie floor #, dept etc) you
can
generate a report from the design file that should meet your
needs...
[I think Bill D'Amico's BLOCKER macro beats that method hands down
!!]
It looks like appearances aren't everything.
