I agree, Cadvance has some really nice things (some of it leading edge) but
lacked some of the tools we take fro granted in DataCAD.  In addition to the one
you mentioned the lack of a built-in mid-point snap (v5), associative
dimensions, no real 3-D, etc. were glaring definciences, that kind of put it on
the back burner for me.
