Nobody is suggesting the elimination of DataCAD's ability to satisfy this
need. What we are suggesting is that the command gets re-located to a more
intuitive, more effecient, more productive location. What you describe above
(if I can quote you) is "making multiple copies of items". You should be
able to perform this from the copy menu.

Some of the other recent suggestions have been good ones.

Adding an 'ANDCOPY' indicator to SWOTHLUD would improve the situation...but
not fix it. I do like the idea of holding down the CONTROL key whenever you
wish to copy but performing a move otherwise. However, no suggestion thus
far surpasses the idea of adding a DRAG funtion to the COPY menu. Even if
'ANDCOPY' stays in the MOVE menu...those who choose to leave it off can do
so and those who choose to use it can.

With Evan's recent report on the quick action by MCS to incorporate many
recent wish items into a future 7.05 (or whatever) release, I wonder if one
of the programmers can suggest what makes the most sense from a programmers
stand point. If plans are already in the works to address this issue,
perhaps one of them could comment and put an end the whole debate.
