Addressing your letters

Dear DataCAD folks:
I have been asked to ask you to please try to remember to identify
yourselves at the bottom of your letters. Apparently certain bulletin board
systems actually strip out the headers before forwarding them to their
users (namely Cadkey's apparently.) So it is not simply a case of their
being too lazy to look up in the header of the messages. (And it seems that
at times they really do want to answer your questions but can't. So lets
not give them any excuses not to answer you!)
Also even though an E-mail address may be given, often times names are not.
While at times, you may indeed want to hide behind the anonymity of an
e-mail address only, providing a phone or fax number or even a mailing
address can be helpful especially if you are requesting specific
information that is not easily provided over E-mail. Those of you with
off-line e-mail reader/writers might see if your program offers the option
of providing a "signature" which can be automatically placed at the bottom
of your correspondence. This make is easy for anyone to get in touch with
you. For example, this is what my signature looks like for private e-mail
correspondence.

Then of course, here's the forum signature that I try to use to remind all
of you how to post new items and get free stuff. Thanks for listening.
