Davies Resignation

Howdy all, and Evan too.

Malcolm has always been decent with me, so I for one am sorry to see him go.
Wish I'd had a chance to meet him..... Had I seen a press release saying that
"Malcolm Davies has decided to resign effective December 31, 1995 in order to
pursue his knitting hobby...." I would have reacted more understandably. I'm
sure that the hastiness of his departure indicates that the press release term:
"everybody's happy" does not have a strict dictionary definition...

As a long time observer, and small time participant, in the American Business
Culture (ABC), I have noticed that there is an ongoing, deep, "my way or no way"
attitude about business, and that even Mammon does not necessarily rule when
those in power want something their way and it is not immediately forthcoming.
All too often, negotiations are one sided... take it or leave it. And Malcolm
left it.

DataCAD for Dos will continue to live. DataCAD for Windows will not be
developed on an 8 or 16 bit operating system, but on a 32 bit OS. I have a very
hard time getting my own stuff out the door, so I can't comment on a possible
due date.

Mele Kaliki Maka...
