DBUG> OT:Senior Moments

I used to think of myself as never getting old.
I thought I would never need glasses, never snore and never be overweight.
Now all those things have happened to me - I can accept that now and those
things no longer worry me.
But the following recent events have me worried:

Instead of squeezing  tooth paste on the tooth brush I have squeezed on
savlon.
I either can't remember hot keys or spend 5 minutes looking in the datacad
macro directory for a function that I would normally use on an hourly basis.
Phone banking passwords and pin numbers occasionally totally elude me. (ie
either completely wrong number or can't remember at all)
I can never remember the ages of my children.(I only have 3 and they still
live with me)
Routine tasks seem to take an eternity.
Can't remember what I did on the weekend.
Have to write everything down on to-do lists or stick post-its all over the
computer screen.
Go to the supermarket or hardware store, only to forget what I went there
for.
I fall asleep every time I watch TV
I no longer care if my neighbours see me in pyjamas.

Oddly though, I find it much easier to design and think creatively. Maybe
one side of the brain is taking over from the other.
Or maybe I just need a brain scan
Or maybe a holiday.
Surely growing old can't be this weird!


Any other anecdotes out there I can relate to?
