Well, circular XRef's have ALWAYS worked; its just that now in v10.02.01, the *way* that they work has been cleaned up (there are a lot fewer temporary files, I think). Why we still have to get the notice, I'm not sure.
On a related note: the thing that is totally new in v10.02.01 in the XRef department is SELF-referencing! This may be what you were thinking of: we can now place XRef's of a drawing in ITSELF! Sweet! And then, we can use the X-clipping feature to isolate a part of the drawing -- and we can add text, dims, and other entities OUTSIDE the X-clip cube! Even sweeter! And we can have more that one X-clip cube on the screen at once! Yikes! I'm going to have to go to the dentist to help prevent cavities, now that DataCAD has given us all this sweet stuff! :-)
Sincerely, Neil Blanchard
