Re: DBUG> Datacad with OCE 9400
Hi,
We have plotted to an Oce' 9400 up until they updated to a 9600. These
plotters plot what they see on the paper. So if your drawing doesn't go all
the way to the end of the sheet, they will cut it off at the end of the
drawing. What we have done is to make a small mark that is just inside the
plotting area at each corner. Say you are printing on 36" x 24" sheets. We
would put very small lines at say 35 3/4" and 23 3/4" so they will fall just
inside the area we want to plot. Otherwise it will cut the plot off after the
drawing. We use a border that our drawings go inside of. Just outside of the
border we have these dots, that are small enough that they aren't seen.
I hope that was clear enough.
My problem is, that I haven't been able to get the plots to rotate correctly
since updating to the latest Oce' driver for Win2k. So I have to print them
out in the 24" width, instead of the 36" width, like we always had.
