DBUG> middle button

I'm stumped-
9.06 user, (all Dells, BTW, & love 'em) all MS IntelliEye scolling mice,
every once in a while the middle button/object snap doesn't work, even
though the scrolling wheel function does.  Once, I just rotated mice, and
that solved the problem.  I've checked settings, everything I can think of-
still have one that won't work.  It seems like it's a Datacad deal, not an
MS mouse or software setting deal. Nn gets old, real fast. Any suggestions?
