Another possibility :

Allow users to identify and select a MSP detail simply by moving your
crosshair over the MSP detail on screen (in layout mode). This may be
achieved by allowing a right mouse click to bring up a sub menu with other
options : select/reposition, GTV, update, etc. OR, left mouse click to 'pick
up' the MSP detail (left mouse click only active in layout mode), allowing
it to be repositioned easily on screen. This would eliminate the need to
know the exact detail name as a user would simply move the crosshair over
the detail and 'pick it up' using a left mouse click.
