I think the original critiZm was aimed at the wish list priorities at the
LLC. Personally thou I can appreciate the benefit of this improvement but
agree that for CDs it may not be a good tool. Other times not so hot  with
out ortho on.  But whats the big deal about turning ortho on? just hit o.
During the design phase Dis should really be a big plus.  Im not a
coordinates entry type guy. Youd be crazy trying to do intial design
alternatives via coordinates. So I go the drag the mouse and watch the
distance read out route. When I do an angle thou then im trudging and dir
dis sounds real good. Now I must switch to coordinates or go into tangents
(b key) to get a good read on my angled entity.  SLow! DirDis is the way to
go I think.
