Hmmm, can't even open the file, eh? That's bad.

Sometimes DataCAD DOS can open gnarly files. Might try that.

Please describe EXACTLY what stage the error occurs at. Is it right when he
tries to open the file? Or later in some process.

Is there a .BAK file available? Or an .ASV file? (not likely)

If he is actually able to start the LyrUtil process but just can't LOAD the
layers into a new drawing, check for invalid characters in the path. Note
that SPACES are invalid characters for paths/names in the LyrUtil process,
so if you have some, fix them.

If all else fails and nothing seems to work, you might try e-mailing the
file to one of us here on the forum. Sometimes one of us can whack
troublesome files into submission.
