Not sure if this is your problem, but sometimes it is still
loading, but it seems as if it has come to a grinding stop. I
happens that I have to wait 3 hours for certain projects to load
into Renderize and I that is on a Athlon 550 with 128 MB RAM.

If I'm in a hurry I wipe the back of the buildings of everything
that will not be visible in the planned perspective before I
export from DC to DXF and into RL.
