RE: DBUG> Hardware lock
Hi David
I have just gone through a very frustrating time with a Hardlock myself and
must say that it would behoove Dcad LLC to document something on their web
page regarding installing the Hardware Lock manually perhaps in the FAQ
portion ... or somewhere easy to find as many have had problems with this.
Would keep many users happier I think.
Try this and let me know if it works or not:
Go to Start and choose Run.
Pick Browse.
Open your CD-ROM drive letter and double click on the Hardlock folder.
Now double click on the WinNT folder.
Open the HLDINST.EXE file.
You will now be back at the Run prompt.
Go to the end of the line and after HLDINST.EXE type in a [Space] and
then "-install".
Choose Ok and you will now install the driver.
DataCAD should now launch.
